Are you always thinking about books you’d like to read? Maybe you see a title in a magazine or an advertisement on the train and want to get the book right away. Or perhaps you use your smartphone far more often than you use your computer. As part of the North of Boston Library Exchange consortium, Lynnfield patrons have access to the NOBLE app. The app is the perfect way to look up books, place holds, and manage your Lynnfield Library account from anywhere.
Here are some things you can do with the NOBLE app:
Search the Catalog: After signing in with your library card number and password (or PIN), you can search either the Lynnfield Library catalog or the catalogs of all NOBLE libraries.
Renew Items: You can see which items you have checked out, confirm when they are due, and renew them from the Items Checked Out tab.
Place Holds: From the Holds tab, you can cancel, suspend, or reactivate your holds. You can also see how many people are on the waitlist and how many copies of the item are available.
Contact Us: Our contact information, address, and a link to our website are listed on the Library Info tab.
Digital Library Card: Once we’re back to in-person services, you can pull up a barcode from the app to check out items, just in case you forget or lose your library card!
Manage Fines: Last but not least, you can also view and pay your fines from within the app–but don’t forget that due to the pandemic, Lynnfield is waiving all fines and fees.
The NOBLE app is available for iOS and Android.
